Yeah... If SCV were an anime or comic or something (or just a better game... *stress*) that allowed for more story exploration, I'd play particular emphasis on this part of the story. An innocent person's descent into darkness is something the series hasn't really covered before and is kinda touching. Also the fact that she's from a line of either demigods, or at least a bloodline that's been granted extra strength from olympus makes it even more interesting that the Soul Edge's corruption had an effect on her.
SCV really wasn't as good I expected. but some how I kinda liked the story mode. And I agree that this "part" of the story (=an innocent person's descent into darkness) is kinda touching and I think it fits in the game.
Mm. I think they've got a lot of cool story going for them that they could make use of, but only ever seem to focus on the soul edge/calibur struggle. A few examples being: The warriors of Olympus (Cassandra, Sophitia, Pyrha(?), Patroklos, any other relations) I think being hinted in SCIII as being stronger than regular people or somehow blessed with strength from their gods. Also Scheherazade's people being an ancient community that shielded itself off from the senseless struggle between the two swords. Or the kingdom Von Krone. I think any of these concepts would make interesting central plot devices or side-stories worth exploring at least. I'm also sure there's a tonne of vampire fans out there that would love a raphael/amy storyline to be more developed. I dunno. I just feel like if fans wrote storylines for them and sent them all in, they'd have better stories than what they've been publishing in the games without even having to develop any new content.
